Rabanne H&M looks to the future with a collaboration campaign set in a sci-fi setting. The high-street brand has unveiled a collection that feels plucked straight from the future with a film directed by Xavier Dolan. The campaign emerges as a visual feast with a short film that captures the essence of this interstellar collaboration.

When the collection was first announced in Paris and followed by a lookbook, it was clear that this was not your average fashion lineup. The images and film feature models like Anok Yai, Rianne van Rompaey, Victoria Fawole, and Dana Smith, to name a few.

Dressed in Rabanne’s signature space-age designs – think sequin dresses, bold prints, and silver-hued boots – they paint a picture of the collection, which officially launches on November 9th.

What’s particularly striking is the collection’s bold use of faux fur and strappy heels. And a color palette is dominated by shades of glittering gold and silver hues. The ambiance is undoubtedly otherworldly, creating a contrast that makes each design pop.

The campaign’s pièce de résistance is the short film. As rhythmic tones play, a group of models and dancers takes center stage. In a memorable moment, Rianne van Rompaey makes a dramatic dive into shimmering waters. As the film reaches its climax, Anok Yai gracefully takes a seat, seemingly defying gravity on an invisible chair.
