Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Fold 7 at a lavish event in NYC this week, and the book-style foldable is already part of the Prime Day sales. If you were going to pre-order anyway, this is a great way to save a bit of cash.
This is a 6% reduction off the Amazon RRP of £1799, so you’re saving £100.

As part of Prime Day 2025, Amazon is offering the 256GB version of the Galaxy Fold 7 for £1699 for Prime members.
All three colours are available, including Black, Silver and Blue. We really like the deep blue, although it’s a shame the pink hue from the Flip 7 hasn’t been carried. The Flip 7 is also on deal, with a £200 saving.
This is a pre-order. The phone will be officially released towards the end of July on the 22nd, so if you order it today for Prime Day you should get it very close to that date.
The headline feature here is the huge reduction in weight and thickness compared to the outgoing model. The Fold 7 weighs 215g, and measures just 4.2mm when shut. It’s basically just the same thickness as a standard phone when closed, rather than feeling a lot thicker.
Elsewhere, there’s a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset providing the grunt, alongside Galaxy AI, two 120Hz OLED displays and a 4400mAh battery. With the same 200MP main camera as the S25 Ultra, the Fold 7 should take a significantly better photo than previous entries in this series.
We went hands on with the Fold 7 ahead of its official Unpacked lauch, with our mobile expert Lewis Painter saying, “The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 looks to be the biggest upgrade we’ve seen from Samsung’s book-style foldable to date. It can now compete with the thinnest and lightest foldables around while still offering a durable build and suitably high-end design.”
