London under radical Sadiq Khan has a two-tier justice system. One for anti-semites, one for everyone else.

In August, a lawyer, acting as an independent legal observer at a pro-Palestine protest outside the Israeli embassy in central London, was arrested, handcuffed, and detained for almost 10 hours.

His ‘crime’? Openly wearing a Star of David.

Marina Medvin shared the story on X.

“A Jewish lawyer wearing a Star of David was arrested after British police claimed the Jewish necklace had “antagonized” pro-Palestine protesters.”

“The lawyer stated that officers handcuffed him with his hands behind his back, placed him in a police vehicle, and held him for questioning. He said he was detained for nearly 10 hours!”

“The Metropolitan Police denied that the arrest was related to the necklace, asserting that the man was detained for “repeatedly breaching” officers’ instructions to keep opposing protest groups separated, according to The Telegraph. But the lawyer documented around 30 incidents of criminal behavior by protesters, none of which resulted in an arrest. Instead, it was just the Jewish man who ended up under arrest.”

Per The Geller Report:

There it is: the quiet death of equal citizenship. The symbol that once marked Jews for persecution in Europe now marks them for arrest in England.

The police call it “keeping the peace.” In truth, it’s cowardice turned into policy. It’s what happens when the state becomes more afraid of offending the offender than protecting the victim. “Antagonising” has become a crime. Translation: if a mob hates you enough, you lose your rights.

We’ve seen this drift before. The modern officer speaks the language of HR, not justice. “Tensions are high,” “communities are sensitive,” “we must be proportionate.” All these phrases mean the same thing: the law no longer applies equally.

Protesters can chant “From the river to the sea,” wave Hamas flags, and scream “Globalise the Intifada” without consequence. But a Jew wearing a small star is branded a threat to public order.

While anti-semitic sentiments flourish in the UK’s largest city, wearing Jewish symbols is enough to face police action.

In 2024, during a pro-Palestine protest in central London, an officer was filmed blocking the path of Gideon Falter, a Jewish man wearing a kippah, a religious head covering, asking him to stay in place while the protesters marched, according to the BBC.

“I don’t want to stay here, I want to leave,” Falter said after being blocked.

But the officer would not allow him to leave, saying, “At the moment sir, you are quite openly Jewish. This is a pro-Palestinian march. I am not accusing you of anything, but I am worried about the reaction to your presence.”

“If I remain here, you will arrest me?” Falter asked.

“Your presence here is antagonizing a large group of people that we can’t deal with all of them if they attack you … because your presence is antagonizing them,” the officer responds.
