There is a ton of bad advice out there when it comes to losing weight and experiencing symptom relief.Warning! If you don’t drink coffee, just laugh at this one and move on.​To start, you may believe that you aren’t able to burn fat without coffee. I believed that too. It’s called the “Lie Coffee Told Me”I love a good cup of coffee on a cold morning, sitting by a fire savoring the aroma. The truth – Coffee on an empty stomach first thing in the morning will spike your cortisol hormone. Caffeine also slows down the ability to absorb magnesium and other nutrients. You can still have coffee if you desire, just not with a bunch of “proprietary blends and supplements”  The only healthy way is to wait at least an hour (2 is best) consume a MINIMUM of 30 grams of protein, and then enjoy!  The protein helps slow the 8% blood sugar increase from the coffee and hinders cortisol from spiking when it should be naturally dropping.Once you recover from that frightening truth, here’s another. A keto diet is NOT 5% Carb | 25% Protein | 70% Fat.  If 70% of your calories are coming from fat, you are NOT getting the nutrients that you need.  A state of nutritional ketosis has very little to do with fat at all. Taking ketones (hinders the ability to reverse insulin resistance), MCT, or butter in coffee is actually hurting your ability to lose stored fat.  High amounts of dietary fat consumption means you’re not getting enough protein and nutrients into the body to be healthy.High fat with autoimmune or blood sugar issues can cause additional blood sugar issues. Sorry, that’s the science-backed truth. It’s also only 1 part of the “Blueprint Equation”.

A main cause of overeating. Other warning signs to pay attention to are brittle nails, hair loss, constant illness, skin conditions, and muscle weakness. All are caused by a lack of protein for your body’s needs. Let me explain…as I was adapting techniques that worked for me, I’d been on a 2-month long stall. On the way home from judging a dance competition, I broke down and stopped at Taco Bell for a chicken taco, around 55 carbs.
