This Garmin Solar smartwatch is now cheaper than the Apple Watch Ultra 2

Built with outdoor adventurers in mind, the Garmin Fenix 7X Pro Solar smartwatch is a brilliant camping, hiking and trekking companion.

Its 1.4-inch display isn’t only impressively responsive but it’s also fitted with solar charging which promises up to a whopping 37 days of battery life when in smartwatch mode, after just three hours of direct sunlight per day. Considering the likes of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 can only promise a measly sounding 36 hours, this claim is seriously impressive.

There’s also a built-in flashlight so you can keep safe when starting an early morning hike or during the night while wild camping. 

Naturally as a Garmin device, you can also expect all the usual 24/7 health and wellness monitoring tools, including Garmin’s Morning Report which gives a rundown of how well you’ve slept and displays your readiness score, ensuring you train optimally. 

Also found within the Fenix 7X Pro Solar is an ECG app, which detects signs of AFib by using sensors to record the electrical signals that control how your heart beats.

There’s also heaps of navigation features including outdoor maps and SatIQ technology which determines the optimal GPS mode based on your environment. This clever technology helps preserve battery while ensuring you always stay aware of your location.

Unlike the Apple Watch series, the Fenix 7X Pro Solar is compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones, so you can receive emails, texts and alerts on your watch.

Although we haven’t reviewed the Fenix 7X Pro Solar smartwatch, it currently boasts a 4.4-star rating based on over 422 Amazon customer reviews. Customers praise the smartwatch’s quality and especially appreciate its mighty battery life.
