It’s highly regarded for a number of reasons. One is comfort. If you’re looking for a comfortable pair of headphones to wear during commutes or long journeys, the Sennheisers are up there with the best. The earpads are soft and cushy with the oval-shaped earcups providing plenty of space to fit your ears into. They slip on like a pair of glass slippers (for your ears).
The battery life is huge. While other brands have caught up with Sennheiser, these headphones claim to last for as long as 60 hours, and with the quick resumption feature, you won’t need to press the on button to power them up. As soon as you lift the headphones, they’ll power on from standby and connect to your device.
If you use headphones for calls then the Momentum 4 Wireless are good in this department too, offering clear pick-up of your voice and blocking background sounds so they don’t become a massive distraction.
But we buy headphones for the sound, and the Sennheiser offer a slightly warm but balanced performance, with strong levels of clarity and detail. They’re not the bassiest of headphones you’ll ever hear but much like their design, it’s a comfortable listen for however long you’re wearing these headphones for.
