Porsche and Smeg have joined forces to create a line of home appliances that turn your kitchen into your showroom.

The range mixes Porsche’s sharp, clean design with Smeg’s famous Italian craftsmanship, resulting in a limited-edition lineup that certainly catches the eye. And will take a sizeable chunk out of your wallet.

The highlight of the lineup is the 917 Salzburg Collection. This series pays tribute to Proche’s first-ever win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans back in 1970. They’re only making 1970 of these, each numbered.

The range includes a Salzburg Red FAB28 refrigerator (£3499) and a bean-to-cup coffee (BCC12) machine (£1399.95), both decked out with the classic number 23 and racing stripe motif. With the matte black accent and glossy red finish, the appliances channel the unmistakable Porsche cues.

Under the hood, they’ve got real muscle, too. The coffee machine packs a powerful 19-bar pump, a built-in stainless-steel grinder, a 1.4-liter water tank, and automatic milk frothing.

The toaster (TSF01) gives you six browning levels, three modes (reheat, bagel, defrost), and extra-wide slots for artisan bread. The kettle (KLF03) holds 1.7 liters, has a soft-opening lid, a 360-degree swivel base, and auto shut-off. On the other hand, the blender (BLF03) features pre-set programs for smoothies and ice crushing, all powered by an 800-watt motor.

Alongside the Salzburg edition, Smeg and Porsche are also releasing the Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic collections, both inspired by classic Porsche paint jobs. These new colours grace Smeg’s signature appliances like the toaster, kettle, and blender. They’re finished with just a hint of black detailing and subtle Porsche striping that echoes the brand’s motorsport elegance.

The Porsche Smeg Collection is now available through Smeg flagship stores, Porsche Design shops, and select retailers. For design lovers, it’s a rare chance to own a piece of Porsche performance you can plug in and use every day.
