Nothing is adding another device to its 2025 lineup, and it’s arriving fast.
The Phone 3a Lite will be announced on Wednesday, October 29, with a reveal set for 1 pm GMT. Nothing confirmed the news on X.
The teaser shows a toned-down take on the familiar rear lighting, hinting at a single notification element rather than the full glyph array.
The use of the ‘Lite’ moniker points to a cheaper spin on the Nothing Phone 3a, which launched earlier in the year alongside the 3a Pro. We’d expect a similar design language with pared-back internals to hit a lower price.
There are a few educated guesses we can make before the curtain lifts. 8GB RAM and 128GB storage could be the baseline, which tracks for an entry model.
The 3a family already sits on the friendly side of mid-range, so the Lite version should nudge that down again for buyers who like the transparent aesthetic and clean software but don’t need top chips. A smaller camera setup seems likely too, given the 3a’s triple 50MP stack is one of its marquee features.
It’s been a busy year for Nothing. The Nothing Phone 3 landed in July, alongside the Nothing Headphone 1. The launch of a Lite model would signal an even more affordable device, sitting alongside the brand’s CMF spin-off range.
Nothing’s new release could easily earn a spot among the best cheap phones, where a sensible spec sheet and tidy interface often outlast splashy headline features at this price.
Price and full specs will be the real story on the day. If Nothing can keep the look and the light touch software while trimming in the right places, the 3a Lite could be an entry to the lineup for anyone who liked the vibe of the 3a but wanted to spend less.
