Google’s Pixel 10a is on the horizon, but it’s shaping up to look very familiar
Google’s next budget-friendly phone, the Pixel 10a, could arrive with looks almost identical to the Pixel 9a, if these leaked renders turn out to be the real thing.
A blue colour variant is shown in the leaked images, although it’s a bit unclear if this finish will make it to production.
What the renders show
Newly leaked CAD-based renders show the 10a with a 6.2-inch FHD+OLED display with 120 Hz adaptive refresh. The dimensions are said to be nearly identical to the 9a at 153.9 x 72.9 x 9 mm.
The camera bar sticks around, holding a 48MP main lens and a 13MP ultrawide, alongside the 13MP selfie camera.
In the renders, the volume rocker still sits below the power button, which is opposite to most Android phones. Down at the bottom, you get that neat, symmetrical lineup of speaker and mic holes, with antenna lines and a triple-mic setup you can actually see.
Tensor G4 and boosted performance
Under the hood, rumours say that the Pixel 10a will use a tweaked Tensor G4 chip instead of the newer G5 chipsets found in the main Pixel 10 models.
That’s probably a move to keep the price down. Battery life should remain good with a 5,100mAh cell.
Launch and pricing expectations
So, when’s it coming? Early leaks pointed to a late 2025 debut, but now people expect it to drop in early 2026, probably in March or April. This matches the usual “a-series” schedule of releases.
Hopefully the price sticks around $499 mark, keeping it competitive against phone competitors like some of the best mid-range phones. We loved the Pixel 9a, so hopefully the 10a retains the overall quality.
