Irina Shayk is shattering the mold in her latest cover story. Starring in V Magazine’s Spring Preview 2026 issue, the icon teams up with photographer Steven Klein for a visual trip that is equal parts seductive and intense.

This isn’t your average editorial. With the legendary Patti Wilson on styling duty, Shayk transforms into a character wrapped in layers of heavy leather, using the material as both armor and allure. She wears brands like Ferragamo, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Alaïa.

The shoot, captured at Shayk and Klein’s homes in Long Island, explores a raw tension between texture and exposure. It is the perfect celebration for Shayk, who is currently marking her twentieth anniversary in the business.

She has evolved from a swimsuit sensation to a high-fashion powerhouse, and she is totally done with labels. Speaking on her refusal to be boxed in, Shayk says, “For me, [this story] represents a kind of wild femininity. Creating this woman with Steven opened so many visual windows.”
