Disney Plus is one of the most popular streaming services on the market, offering TV shows like The Simpsons and Loki as well as movies from Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar. If you’re a subscriber to the ‘Standard’ plan you’re able to download both TV shows and movies from Disney Plus so you can easily watch when you’re without a connection.
You can only watch video content offline via a mobile device, meaning that you will need to make sure that your smartphone or tablet has the Disney Plus app for this to work.
Previously, downloading was supported as standard across Disney Plus, however it is now a feature missing from the ‘Standard with Ads’ plan. You’ll want the ‘Standard’ or ‘Premium’ plan to make use of downloading.

From your Downloads tab, you can access any of the content you’ve previously downloaded and watch it on your mobile device.
Troubleshooting
A membership to Disney Plus costs £7.99 per month or £79.90 a year in the UK for the Standard plan or £109.90 a year (£10.99 a month) for the Premium one. There’s also a £4.99 Standard with Ads plan that doesn’t support downloading.
