Fans of Call of Duty Zombies have been wanting the mode to head back to the glory days for a number of years now, whether that be mechanically, or the story.
Thankfully, with Black Ops 6 Zombies, it appears that most will be happy with what Treyarch has cooked up, bringing back a plethora of core features.
Additionally, there are also a bunch of new additions that most will be able to take advantage of including the likes of pausing and saving your progress.
Here, we’ll go into the details of pausing and saving in Black Ops 6 Zombies so you know how you can utilize these new inclusions.
Black Ops 6 Zombies pausing and saving explained
One of the most requested features over the years was having the ability to pause your Zombies game, allowing you to go grab a drink, go to the toilet, etc.
This was initially available in the very first Zombies experience in World at War but has vanished into the ether ever since.
With Black Ops 6 Zombies, pausing has finally returned but there are a couple of caveats.
You can only pause your game when playing a Solo game, which may seem a little annoying since most play in a party, but does make sense logistically.
When you do pause, after a short while, your game will automatically save your progress but will return to the main menu.
Following on from this, you can choose to save your game at any point in Solo, as long as you’re at full health, aren’t downed, dead, or actively engaged in an Exfil.
Both of these additions are fantastic quality of life changes for both long term fans of the mode and newcomers alike.
It’ll also encourage you to really go for those high rounds and not be afraid of having to take a quick break to stretch those legs.
