Haier just dropped the ID Series 6 (H6 ID68M5YTB1), a built-in smart oven with an internal camera and on-device AI that watches your food and tweaks the heat and timing settings for steadier results.
At the core is BionicVision, a camera that watches your cooking in real time, learns your habits over time, and helps you avoid things like underdone centres and burnt tops.
Haier lists a 78L cavity, A++ efficiency, 26 cooking functions, a dedicated AirFry mode, and dual cleaning with pyrolytic and hydrolytic cycles. Connectivity runs through the hOn app over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for recipe suggestions, remote preheats, and even progress tracking.
Lots of appliances have been adding AI in recent years, but this is one of the best uses of it that we’ve seen so far. Heat, clear controls, and easy cleaning are all things that help set the bar in our best ovens list and it looks like Haier is really trying to vie for that crown.
Haier’s angle on AI is to make a helpful jump with visual feedback and a program list that covers roasts, tray bakes, and lighter frying. With a roomy cavity, efficient performance, and simple cleaning, it’s clear this is a premium pick but we’re excited to see how the camera, app, and everyday modes come together.
