In the wake of the devastating New Year’s Day attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, FBI agents have executed a raid on the Houston residence of the suspect, 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar.

Drone footage from the operation captures a man outside the property with his hands raised in surrender.

Jabbar, a U.S. Army veteran from Texas, was identified as the individual who drove a pickup truck into a crowd of revelers on Bourbon Street, resulting in at least 15 fatalities and numerous injuries.

Additionally, the Cybertruck was rented through the app Turo — the same company the man who died in the cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas used to rent the truck.

An ISIS flag was found attached to the vehicle, leading authorities to investigate the incident as a terrorist attack. Jabbar was fatally shot by police after he opened fire on officers responding to the scene.

The FBI’s Houston field office, in collaboration with local law enforcement, conducted the raid on Jabbar’s residence in north Houston.

The operation aimed to uncover any evidence of accomplices or further threats linked to the New Orleans attack.

Investigators have uncovered evidence suggesting that Jabbar did not act alone.

A high-level source indicated that there are at least four to five other suspects involved in the planning and execution of this heinous act.

Following the attack, the FBI announced that they are carrying out “law enforcement activity” in Houston, Texas, in connection to the New Orleans terrorist attack.

“FBI Houston and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are currently conducting law enforcement activity near the intersection of Hugh Road and Crescent Peak Drive in north Houston. We have secured a perimeter in that area and are asking people to avoid the area. FBI Houston personnel and specialized teams will be on-site for several hours. This activity is related to this morning’s New Orleans attack, but due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, no further information can be provided,” the statement reads.

Now, an armored vehicle is heading to the Houston home of New Orleans terrorist Shamsud-Din Jabbar.

The drone footage by KPRC 2 Houston shows a man emerging from the property with his hands up, complying with SWAT’s commands.

This is a developing story.
