The software and crypto wallet company Exodus has donated a massive $1.3 million to an advocacy group in support of mobilizing crypto voters around the country.

The group is called Stand With Crypto (SWC) and is a non-profit organization that aims to unite global crypto advocates and pushes for the enactment of “clear rules for crypto to thrive.”

In a tweet, the Exodus team said they are “proud” to share the news of the financial commitment which “will help their mission of educating and mobilizing crypto voters…”

In a press release on the non-profit website, the group says the funds “will help SWC continue to scale its public education and community engagement efforts across the country.”

“Exodus has been an unwavering advocate for user empowerment in the crypto world, and this $1.3 million commitment is a testament to their leadership and dedication to making sure crypto’s voice is heard this election cycle,” said SWC Executive Director Logan Dobson.

Exodus donation is made just weeks ahead of U.S. election

“These resources will allow us to deepen our engagement with communities, lawmakers, and stakeholders to ensure a future where crypto innovation can thrive in the U.S.”

The Exodus CEO JP Richardson described the organization as doing “critical work to make sure this future is realized, and we are proud to contribute to their cause.

“Together, we’re making strides toward a future where crypto and blockchain technology are fostered and developed right here in the U.S.”

He also says Exodus has “always believed that the future of finance lies in decentralization and individual empowerment.”

With only six weeks to go until the presidential election, the Stand With Crypto non-profit organization has been tracking statements made by key politicians and ranking them according to their support of cryptocurrency.
