One of the best ways to elevate an outfit is proper accessorizing! You’ve probably heard this being said before, but I think people still ignore it. And it’s understandable! After buying the main pieces of an outfit, accessories seems like a secondary priority! Though, did you know you might just be missing out on giving those investment clothes justice! What if it was actually new accessories you needed and not a new pair of trousers or shirt to make a new outfit? Bringing life to a look while simulataneously elevating it is all in the accessories!!
Silk Ties
You might have seen my Dior Show GRWM on tiktok and instagram! I LOVE doing tiktok’s like this because it really shows you how you can recreate the vibe of luxury brands with accessories! Just with a silk tie and fedora I was able to channel the luxury house! Silk ties (especially those from the menswear section) are now a wardrobe staple. Wear it with a cropped shirt and blazer to give a Miu Miu feel. They look sophisticated, cool and still slightly unexpected! (Also, don’t miss the trending Menswear styles spotted during Milan FW!) I’m definitely wearing more ties in the future!
Statement Jewellery
Statement jewellery might sound like a thing of the past, but that’s a myth! Big and chunky jewellery (especially earrings) have been given a modern update! One of my favourite purchases lately have been these statement Bottega Veneta earrings! (They come in more colours that I’ve added to the carousel below!) The design is so timeless and is perfect to elevate even my most casual outfits! These are definitely a market favourite because I’ve seen dupes on Etsy! These are those few items that never disappoint!!
Bold Sunglasses
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know how I feel about sunglasses! During fashion week and even on regular days, my accessory of choice are bold sunglasses!
