Amazfit has just announced its most premium smartwatch to date, with the T-Rex 3 Pro.

Designed with endurance athletes in mind, the T-Rex 3 Pro boasts heaps of features to support marathon-training sessions including a mighty battery life, more accurate GPS readings and a durable display and body.

Fitted with dual-band GPS support from six satellite systems, Amazfit promises the T-Rex 3 Pro should deliver a fast and reliable connection whether you’re running in the middle of nowhere or darting between skyscrapers in the city.

In fact, the T-Rex 3 Pro also boasts heaps of map features to make navigation easier than ever. Alongside the always useful offline maps tool, you can also receive turn-by-turn directions and smart auto-rerouting too.

Find creating routes a laborious task? The T-Rex 3 Pro can automatically create up to three round-trip routes for you, based on your target distance and direction.

Naturally as a fitness tracker and smartwatch, the T-Rex 3 Pro also supports over 180 sport modes and is fitted with Amazfit’s BioTracker sensor which promises to deliver accurate heart-rate tracking too.

Not only that but you can also use your device to take Bluetooth calls, reply to instant messages, listen to training notifications and more, thanks to its built-in speaker and microphone.

Otherwise, the T-Rex 3 Pro is available in two sizes: 44mm or 48mm, with both options sporting a 10 ATM water-resistance rating, certification for up to 45m diving and a scratch-resistant sapphire glass screen.

Battery life is also promised to match the likes of Garmin, with the 48mm version promises to last up to a whopping 26 days. Amazfit also claims that when the watch has GPS and its always-on display enabled, you can expect around 19-20 hours on the 48mm T-Rex 3 Pro, while the 44mm promises up to 13 hours.

At the time of writing, the 48mm Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro is available now with a starting RRP of £399, while the 44mm model is expected to be available “later”.
