Balenciaga taps Katy Perry for its latest sneaker campaign, On Repeat, and the pop icon delivers something completely unexpected. It’s raw, real, and totally refreshing. The glam is understated.
Perry shows up bare-faced, hair slicked back, skin still glistening in a Balenciaga athletic jacket. The black-and-white as well as color shots are close, personal, and a little bit sweaty in the best possible way.

The whole campaign is built around one big idea: showing up every single day. A cracked egg floating in soft blue light. The Radar sneaker mid-stretch. The Triple S.2 on a body in motion. Balenciaga positions these everyday objects as the real heroes.
Perry puts it perfectly in her statement, “Discipline to me is self respect. It’s also self love. It doesn’t have to be rigid. It can start out small, showing up just daily in a small way, and that’s how you build consistency over perfection.”
