H&M is rewriting the rules of spring dressing, and it’s all about season change. The brand’s spring-summer womenswear collection, fronted by model Loli Bahia, is a collision of eras. From 80s power dressing to 90s edge, and early 2000s nostalgia, all thrown together in the best possible way.
It all comes down to contrast. Sharp meets fluid while gritty urban energy rubs up against polished glamour. A crisp white blazer layered over a black structured bandeau top with a statement oval-buckle belt is one of the strongest looks.
Then comes an all-black fringed crop H&M top paired with a voluminous bubble skirt and flat thong sandals. It’s tactile, moody, and completely striking. A sculptural strapless red dress pooling on the floor brings pure, unapologetic drama.
Denim plays a grounding role throughout. Wide-leg mid-wash jeans get paired with a black ruffled blouse and an ornate embroidered vest, nodding to Indie Sleaze references without being over the top. A woven black baker boy cap rounds out the craftier side of the collection.
The palette runs from cool white and classic black to a punchy red accent that brings some drama to the color scheme.
