Solange is the face of the latest Nike x Jacquemus Moon Shoe campaign, and the imagery is as striking as you’d expect from two cultural powerhouses colliding. The collaboration between Nike and French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus continues to reimagine the iconic sneaker, this time in three new colorways.
Nike x Jacquemus Moon Shoe Campaign
There is a rich brown, a creamy Sail, and a soft pale pink. Each pair features the shoe’s now-signature ruched nylon upper, Nike Grind outsole, and that unmistakable modern ballet silhouette that made the first drop an instant hit.
The campaign images are minimal yet chic. Solange is photographed against clean, muted backdrops wearing sculptural silhouettes, from an oversized white poplin shirt to a sculpted silhouette, all grounded by chunky ribbed socks and the Moon Shoes.
The inspiration runs deep. Jacquemus discovered the original Moon Shoe in Nike’s archives three years ago and immediately saw potential. As Simon put it, the pale pink edition is “rooted in the Jacquemus DNA as a sensual and naïve color,” bringing intimacy to the iconic shape.
