DraftKings Super App rollout details nationwide push

DraftKings is preparing to fold nearly all of its digital betting products into one place. The Boston-based gaming company said Monday (March 2) it will introduce what it calls the DraftKings Sports & Casino “super app,” a single platform designed to house its sportsbook, casino, lottery and prediction offerings under one roof.

The announcement came during the company’s 2026 Virtual Investor Day, where executives laid out a broader growth strategy focused on streamlining products and reaching customers in more states.

Instead of asking users to toggle between separate apps, DraftKings plans to offer one shared experience with a single wallet and login. What customers see inside the app will depend on the laws in their state, but the goal is to make the transition between products feel seamless.

Company leaders say the first stage of the rollout should arrive in time for the NCAA’s March Madness tournament this spring. Additional features and refinements are expected to follow throughout 2026.

“This new super app is already our biggest app, getting about 80 to 90% of our 11 million customers in there each year,” CEO Jason Robins said, according to industry reports. “We know how to drive traffic there. We know how to engage customers there. Now, we are going to have both sportsbook and predictions in this app.”

Speaking later on CNBC, Robins added: “Well, the biggest thing is that we have so many apps now and it’s confusing for customers. So take predictions, for example. Right now you have to go download the DraftKings Predictions app. Most people don’t think that, especially if they already have the app on their phone, or even if you search the App Store.

“The first app that comes up is the Sportsbook and Casino app. And so we have all kinds of customers that are like, ‘I thought it would be in here.’ It’s just natural.

“What we did, essentially, is we made it their problem to figure out which app to get based on where they’re located in the country versus our problem. So now we’re saying you download the same app, and if you’re in a state that does not have online sports betting, you’ll see predictions.

“And if you’re in a state that has online sports betting, you’ll see the Sportsbook product. And we’re going to sort it out for them on the back end versus making them go and navigate between a bunch of different apps.”

DraftKings attempts to build a single betting ecosystem via its Super App

At the center of the strategy is DraftKings Predictions, a contracts-based product that allows users to trade on sports outcomes. The company recently expanded Predictions to 38 states, giving it a presence even in places where traditional sports betting has not been legalized. By placing that product inside the super app, DraftKings can continue operating in restrictive markets while promoting other offerings where permitted.

The company is also weaving in Jackpocket, its digital lottery courier service, further broadening the range of gaming options available through one interface.

DraftKings has been steadily expanding its geographic footprint. It recently launched a dedicated sportsbook app in Washington, D.C., and introduced a Spanish-language version of its sportsbook platform to better serve Hispanic customers. Those efforts, executives suggest, fit naturally into the super app model by feeding more users into a single digital hub.

Behind the scenes, DraftKings expects practical benefits. Executives argue that merging platforms should lower marketing expenses and reduce customer acquisition costs. A unified wallet could also encourage users to move between sportsbook wagers, casino games and lottery purchases more easily, increasing overall engagement.

Artificial intelligence is expected to play a role as well, helping personalize offers and improve operations across the combined platform.

When fully deployed, the super app will adjust by jurisdiction, promoting sportsbook betting where it is legal and drawing attention to Predictions or lottery products elsewhere.
