The S90F is Samsung’s step-down OLED in its 2025 range, and by that we mean it’s the less expensive, not quite as high-performing as the flagship S95F.
Don’t take that to mean that the S90F isn’t any good, because this is a five-star TV as we tested the 65-inch model earlier in the year.
Its picture quality is excellent, delivering a bright HDR performance that’s good enough to watch whether you watch TV during the day or at night. Black levels are typically excellent, with bright highlights that help contribute ot an excellent sense of contrast with HDR titles.
If you watch a lot of HD broadcasts (which you surely will) then the AI processing on this TV will make HD content look as detailed and sharp as it can be without looking overly processed. The sound quality is decent for casual users, but if you want a proper home cinema performance, you’ll want to add a soundbar.
The Tizen interface offers a wide array of entertainment apps to enjoy, as well as smarts with support for digital assistants such as Samsung’s Bixby and Amazon Alexa.
It’s also great for gaming with all four HDMI inputs supporting 4K/120Hz support for fast and slick gameplay. PC gamers get an extra cherry on top the gaming cake with support for 144Hz refresh rates.
Alas, there’s no Dolby Vision HDR with this model, but overall this is an excellent OLED TV and this deal brings the S90F down to an outstanding price. It’s a terrific Black Friday deal and if you’re a Samsung TV fan you won’t want to miss on this high quality OLED TV.
