The Echo Pop is Amazon’s entry-level speaker in its Echo range, a cool looking speaker that comes in a wide range of colours to suit the room it’s in.
It comes with Matter support for those who have compatible devices. Alexa is also on hand to answer any requests, while it can play audio, but for a speaker of its size it’s not going to compete with the bigger Echo speakers.
Nevertheless, if you’re looking for a cheap and cheery Echo speaker to keep an eye on your smart home devices, the Echo Pop is the cheapest of the lot.

Amazon Echo Show 8 gets an early Black Friday price cut
Snag the 3rd-gen Echo Show 8 for only £94.99, down from £149.99.
This is not the latest Echo Show 8 model, with the third gen receiving a price cut as the fourth gen model arrives.
That said, don’t think you’re getting old threads with this version as it’s still a powerful device/display that can also play audio.
It has Matter, Thread and Zigbee support for those who want to keep control over their smart home devices, and it has the Adaptive Content feature whereby it offers suggestions that change based on how close you are to the display.
