With the Black Friday shopping bonanza in full swing over at Amazon, you might be thinking about upgrading your wireless earbuds – and Apple’s latest AirPods Pro 3 are a solid option. The catch? They’re not on sale.
However, with the older, but very similar, AirPods Pro 2 price plummeting over at Amazon, we’d recommend going for the older model.

Save 15% on the AirPods Pro 2 at Amazon for Black Friday
With this discount making the AirPods Pro 2 £50 cheaper than the Pro 3, it’s a no-brainer for those who want to save a bit of cash while getting a top-end audio experience.
Yes, they’re not Apple’s latest and greatest wireless earbuds, but you’re still getting the same comfortable design, impressive ANC and transparency mode tech and high-quality music playback – you just miss out on some of the newer extras like heart-rate monitoring and live translation. They’re the earbuds this writer uses daily without complaint.
The AirPods Pro 2 are a fantastic upgrade and easily some of the best wireless earbuds I have ever tested – even when the high price is taken into account.

Excellent ANC -
Rich, warm sound -
Charging case gets some neat features

Many of the best features are iPhone and Mac only
The design is classic AirPods Pro, with a compact white case, IPX4 splash resistance and multiple eartips to get the right fit. The case is equally smart, with a built-in speaker and Precision Finding via the U1 chip, making them much harder to lose.
Of course, the real star is the ANC and overall sound. Noise cancelling remains among the best you’ll find from in-ear buds in 2025, doing an excellent job of killing off train and plane noise, while the Transparency mode sound impressively natural when you want the outside world back.
Backed by the H2 chip, the audio is rich and full with clean vocals, tight but controlled bass and a wide soundstage that flatters everything from intimate acoustic tracks to big pop productions.

Battery life also holds up well at around six hours with ANC active and roughly 30 hours from the case, which supports MagSafe, Qi, Apple Watch chargers and USB-C, by the way.
Call quality is excellent, connection stability is rock solid, and the whole experience feels more seamless on iPhone than almost any rival can manage.
If you live in the Apple ecosystem and want premium noise cancellation, great sound and maximum convenience without paying top whack for the latest model, the AirPods Pro 2 remain a bit of a sweet-spot choice – especially at its discounted price.
