Big-screen laser projection just got a lot more interesting – now you get free TV, no strings attached.

Hisense is now expanding access to the Freely streaming platforms across its 2024 and 2025 Laser TV lineups. For viewers in the UK, this means you’ll soon have easy, subscription-free access to both live and on-demand TV straight from the premium big screens.

This move tightens Hisense’s partnership with Everyone TV, the folks behind Freely. The platform is supported by heavy-hitters like the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5.

Designed as the next generation of Freeview, Freely brings together traditional live broadcasts with streaming apps into one simple interface. There’s no need for an aerial, no monthly fee, just turn it on and start watching.

Every 2024 and 2025 Laser TV model from Hisense will have Freely pre-installed. This includes the PX3TUK Pro, PT1TUK, PL2TUK, C2TUK, C2TUK-ULTRA, C2TUK-PRO and M2TUK Pro.

For the first time, Hisense is also bringing Freely to its smaller TVs like the AQ4, A5Q, and the new S5Q. That means every TV in the lineup now supports Freely. It also covers the latest 2025 models like the U7Q Pro and the UQ8 Mini-LED.

The announcement comes right after Hisense’s 2025 lineup reveal, with standouts like the L9Q TriChroma Laser TV. This model is capable of reaching 200 inches in size, with 5,000 lumens of brightness and Dolby Vision support. Meanwhile, portable and gaming-focused models like the M2 Pro and C2 Ultra continue to push the boundaries of what laser displays can do.

Robert Andrews, Head of Strategy & GTM at Hisense UK, called the partnership “an industry-first entertainment offering.” It’s also becoming an integral step in making free streaming TV more available for more devices, and by extension, more viewers.
