Samsung is expanding its digital art gallery in a big way. The company has announced a new partnership with the Centre Pompidou, bringing 25 masterpieces from the Paris museum’s collection to The Frame TV and other compatible Samsung models this November.
The update arrives just as the Centre Pompidou prepares to close for renovations, giving art lovers a way to experience its treasures from home.
The curated lineup spans over a century of modern and contemporary art – from Frida Kahlo’s The Frame and Wassily Kandinsky’s Gelb-Rot-Blau to Piet Mondrian’s New York City and Henri Matisse’s La Tristesse du Roi. The collection also included works from Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Yves Klein, and Peter Doig.
“Centre Pompidou has always stood at the intersection of art and innovation,” said Gaële de Medeiros, Head of International and Economic Development at the museum. “Through this partnership, our collection continues to be seen, shared, and lived with, even as our physical space transforms.”
For Samsung, it’s another move that cements The Frame’s reputation as more than just a TV. With the Art Store, users can display curated works from the world’s leading museums right on their wall, switching effortlessly between a cinematic display and a gallery-worthy canvas.
The collaboration also underscores Samsung’s growing list of high-profile art partners, including The Met, Tate, MoMA, and Musée d’Orsay. It’s all part of the company’s push to make world-class art more accessible — no ticket required.
The new Centre Pompidou Collection will be available on The Frame and The Frame Pro, Samsung’s most advanced art TVs to date.
The Frame Pro is sold as Samsung’s most high-end art TV to date. The Frame Pro’s Neo QLED screen brings brighter colours and deeper contrasts, paired with an Anti-Reflection Matted Display that keeps art looking lifelike under any light. It also supports the Wireless One Connect Box, keeping cables hidden even from 30 feet away for a cleaner, gallery-style setup.
Samsung has also rolled out Art Store support to its Neo QLED 8K, 4K, and QLED TVs, giving more users a chance to curate their living rooms like a private exhibition. And with this latest update, The Frame isn’t just displaying art – it’s preserving it while the museum walls are on pause.
