A noticeable skin improvement in a single, 12-minute session sounds too good to be true, but that’s exactly what Therabody’s promising with its new LED face mask.
The TheraFace Mask Glo, which launches alongside a number of Theraguns thanks to a partnerships with both Kendall Jenner and Josh Allen, is billed as dermatologist-approved and FDA-cleared. Initial trial results have shown improvements in radiance, firmness and reductions in fine lines, sagging and under eye wrinkles in as little as eight weeks.
Therabody says it’s managed to achieve those results because the mask uses PrecisionLED Technology with 504 medical-grade LEDs across Red, Red+Infrared and Blue wavelengths that actually cover the full face.
It’s also cordless, lightweight at 514 grams, and has vibration technology stuffed into the headband to give you a gentle scalp massage while you wear it.
Priced at £299, the TheraFace Mask Glo retails for considerably less than its predecessor, the TheraFace Mask, which retailed at £549. This places the Mask Glo in the same price bracket as the Shark Cryoglow, which we awarded five stars to when we reviewed it last year. Our reviewer Jess Gorringe has since hailed the mask as a “staple” in her skin care, so we’re keen to see how it compares.
The Theraface Mask Glo is available now from Therabody and a handful of third-party retailers.
