Designed to give your home entertainment setup a serious leg up in quality, the Sonos Ray soundbar is a must-buy that’s now super affordable in Amazon’s sale.
As someone who was in the market for a new soundbar several years ago, I debated picking up a Sonos Beam or a similarly priced equivalent, but when I saw a similar deal going for the Sonos Ray, I nabbed it in an instant and haven’t looked back. From gaming to movie night, it has provided me with plenty, and now it’s your chance to add it to your home.
Head on over to Amazon right now and you can pick up the compact yet powerful Sonos Ray soundbar for just £60.55. Given that the device can set you back £279 at most other times of the year, this £118 saving is not to be missed.

The Sonos Ray soundbar is now an undeniable bargain
The Sonos Ray was already an affordable means of upgrading your movie night, but this deal just cranks the value up even further.
There are quite a few reasons as to why I’m completely smitten with the Sonos Ray, but I want to start by highlighting a feature that often gets overlooked: its compact frame. One aspect that I hadn’t considered when buying a soundbar is that anything too large could have the potential to block a portion of the TV itself (and I had exactly that problem when testing out a soundbar from a different brand). By comparison, the Sonos Ray sits comfortably underneath the stands of my TV, so this has never been an issue.
Moving on to the main show, Sonos’ sound profile is something to be marvelled. Even though the Ray is comparatively small, it still has the ability to send over rumbling bass tones that elevate whatever entertainment you’re watching, and it can get quite loud as well. With that power, the Ray still gives plenty of attention to the vocals, and I’ve found it much easier to understand dialogue than before.
Some critics have complained about the Sonos Ray using an optical connection instead of HDMI but from my perspective, that’s been a huge boon as it’s left a HDMI slot free to then plug in one of my games consoles.
When I’m working from home, the Sonos Ray also takes on a second role of being a great speaker for a bit of background music. With the Sonos app in tow, it’s easy to dive into tracks across all of your music streaming services, and the sound quality has been exceptional here as well.
For anyone who’s still making do with their TV’s built-in speakers, take my advice and upgrade to the Sonos Ray whilst it’s cheap. With all that you get and the quality that it injects into every type of entertainment, it’s a bargain at this Prime Day price.
